Dr. Catharine E. Krebs is a Medical Research Specialist at the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. The Physicians Committee is a non-profit organization that aims to create a healthier world by promoting plant-based nutrition and preventive medicine and encouraging higher standards for ethics and effectiveness in research. In her role at the Physicians Committee, Dr. Krebs focuses on engaging federal biomedical research leadership to establish effective human-based research strategies. She received her PhD in Human Genetics in 2018 from the University of California Los Angeles where she studied psychiatric genetics and genomics. Her current interests include biomedical research policy, research ethics, and health disparities.
