Valentin D. Picasso

Valentin D. Picasso is an Assistant Professor in the Agronomy Department at University of Wisconsin – Madison, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Uruguay. His research focuses on forages and perennial grain crops, resilience to climate change, and ecological intensification of dairy and beef systems. He leads trans-disciplinary research projects to link science and policy for sustainability. He teaches courses on International Agriculture, Forages, Agroecology, Environmental Impacts of Livestock Systems, and Perennial Grain Polycultures.
